JODP Podium N01, Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Located in the Holiest Islam city, Jabal Omar Development project is a unique construction project consisting of 40 state-of-the-art high rise buildings. It is part of a commercial and residential project spread over 230,000sqm in Makkah, around the Haram.  This project brings significant economic impact and huge religious significance to Saudi Arabia, helping to host a larger number of pilgrims and ultimately serve five stars religious tourism.

Podium N01 is a multi-purpose building among several other inter-connected podiums separated by expansion joints.

Commissioned by Jabal Omar Development Company, PEER provided a structural value engineering study for the 8 stories building yielding to a significant cost saving.
