KOSEN ONE is a fascinating addition within the port of Dakar district, in Senegal, and is one of six other planned buildings within the land plot comprising (2 BAS+GF+13).
Facing an oasis of greenery, Kosen offers large terraces overlooking interior courtyards and islets with gardens.
This is where its name KOSEN comes from: “Rays of light.”
PEER provided detailed structural design and construction documentation from inception to execution.
Project challenges include a high water table, large repetitive floor cantilevers, and several transfer structures due to the different functions of the floors, including three major cantilever deep beams supporting the tower.
